LIVING IN A WORLD OF BLACK AND WHITE

In the middle of a stressful week (preparing to write exams), I sat on the bus and thought, "Haven't I been living in a world of black and white?" Yeah, I love dressing in black and white, but have I been dressing my existence in that, too? In the symmetry of life, where emotions once danced in vibrant hues, I found myself entangled in a haunting melody of black and white. Here is the story of my struggle with mental health, a journey that began with a monochromatic canvas and eventually led me to rediscover the vivid colours hidden within. Life, once a kaleidoscope of emotions, began to lose its richness. Joy and sorrow became indistinct, fading into a world where hope and despair took turns on the stage of my mind. It was as if someone had turned the volume down on the music of life, leaving behind a dissonant silence.
